Our chapter is hosting the
NW REGIONAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE in Portland
August 13, 14 and 15.
There will be 8 hours of continuing education. The new 2-hour mandatory
Ethics Course will be offered for free at the conference and is only available to NAIFA
membership. This course is required for new candidates within one year of joining and
every four years for all other membership. It is designed to provide members with an
awareness of what it means to be a professional and make a commitment to abide by a
Code of Ethics written for practicing appraisers.
Everyone should have received a mailing by now but check it
out at our Conference
Page for all information, maps, etc. We need for you to
sign up NOW.
Dinner selection requests should be registered by this
Friday the 6th, but we want you to come anyway, late
registration will be accepted . Let’s make it a hugely
attended event. We have a block of rooms available at the
Marriott @ $89 per room plus tax.
Get away for a night or two, the Marriott us just across the
street from waterfront parks, and right in the heart of
entertainment.

Members current with their dues are entitled to take up
to two days of Education Courses free, through December
31 of each year.
If this offer is unused, this benefit does not carry
over into the next year. Associate members are excluded

ONE COUPON IS GOOD FOR A 7-8 HR COURSE OR TWO 4-HR
COURSES IN ONE DAY. There is, however, a $20
registration fee for each day to pay for materials. (No

The NAIFA web site now has a link to
Amazon.com. NAIFA gets a percentage of every
order made through that link which will benefit all Chapters. NAIFA membership is not
required.
