  • July 23 - 10.3 Relevant Characteristics of Real Estate - 7 hrs.
  • July 24 - 16.2 The Appraisal of Foreclosed Properties (REO) 8 hrs.
  • September - USPAP 7 Hr
  • September - Mold, Lead-Based Paint, Radon

Eugene:

  • July 15 - 10.3 Relevant Characteristics of Real Estate - 7 hrs.
  • July 16 - 16.2 The Appraisal of Foreclosed Properties (REO) 8 hrs.
  • September classes will include USPAP 7 Hrs and Mold, Lead Based Paint, Radon.

NAIFA EDUCATION BENEFIT
Members current with their dues are entitled to take up to two days of Education Courses free, through December 31 of each year. If this offer is unused, this benefit does not carry over into the next year. Associate members are excluded from this member benefit. (See Membership: Benefits at www.naifa.com.) ONE COUPON IS GOOD FOR A 7-8 HR COURSE OR TWO 4-HR COURSES IN ONE DAY. There is, however, a $20 registration fee for each day to pay for materials. (This is a correction from the newsletter you received over this last weekend)

NW REGIONAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE
Our chapter is hosting the NW REGIONAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE in Portland August 13, 14 and 15. There will be 8 hours of continuing education. The new 2-hour mandatory Ethics Course will be offered for free at the conference and is only available to NAIFA membership. This course is required for new candidates within one year of joining and every four years for all other membership. It is designed to provide members with an awareness of what it means to be a professional and make a commitment to abide by a Code of Ethics written for practicing appraisers.

DATA SERVICE FEE STRUCTURE
  • 1) Pro-Active Membership: Be a designated member, Chapter officer, or committee chairman or member, attend minimum of four luncheon meetings per year:
    • RMLS - $36/yr
    • Data Quick - $90/quarter
  • 2) Active Membership: Attend minimum of four luncheon meetings per year and/or be an active committee member:
    • RMLS - $60/yr
    • Data Quick - $120/quarter
  • 3) Base Membership: Support our Chapter by attending as many meetings as you can:
    • RMLS - $84/yr
    • Data Quick - $150/quarter
