Meeting Program

  1. General Meeting

  2. NAIFA Code of Ethics Course 2 hours. NO continuing education credits.

LINEUP FOR FUTURE SPEAKERS
Tentative speakers will be worked in according to their individual schedules.  Please keep in mind the lineup is “tentative”. It is beyond our control if cancellations occur.
  • May - General Meeting and Code of Ethics Class which is required for new candidates within one year of joining and every four years for all other membership. There will be an exam.
IFA MEMBERSHIP GOLF OUTING
Weather permitting... that means 40 degrees or higher, not socked in with fog, not pouring rain.

Mornings prior to each general meeting at the Rose City Golf Course, 2200 NE 71st Avenue, Portland. Tel 503-823-4653 or 503-253-4744. Thomas Guide Page 597 E3. Tee time is 8 a.m.

IFA DESIGNATION CLASSES
Lloyd Werner will continue to instruct classes to help members get their IFA designations upon demand. There will be a minimum attendee requirement.

NAIFA EDUCATION BENEFIT
National has changed the rules of this benefit.

As of 2005, a member must be designated and be current with their dues to receive two days of free education.

Candidate members current with their dues are entitled to take one day of education free, through December 31 of each year.

If this offer is unused, this benefit does not carry over into the next year.

Associate members are excluded from this member benefit.

FREE EDUCATION CLASS IS DEFINED AS A 7-8 HR COURSE OR TWO 4-HR COURSES IN ONE DAY. There is, however, a $20 registration fee for each day to pay for materials. (Education Conferences are excluded and may not be used for the free class benefit)

 

DATA SERVICE FEE STRUCTURE
DATA SERVICE FEE STRUCTURE JANUARY THROUGH JUNE 2005 (same as 2004)

RMLS will be billed half fee. You have six months to qualify for lower 2005 fees.

1) Pro-Active Membership: Be a designated member, Chapter officer, or committee chairman or member, attend minimum of four luncheon meetings per year:

RMLS - $36/yr ($18 half yr)
Data Quick - $90/quarter

2) Active Membership: Attend minimum of four luncheon meetings per year and/or be an active committee member:

RMLS - $60/yr ($30 half yr)
Data Quick - $120/quarter
3) Base Membership:
Support our Chapter by attending as many meetings as you can:

RMLS - $84/yr ($42 half yr)
Data Quick - $150/quarter


DATA SERVICE FEE STRUCTURE JULY THROUGH DECEMBER 2005 (changed from 2004 to reflect lower OR higher fees depending on individual participation in our chapter)

1) Pro-Active Membership: Be a designated member, and a national officer or national committee member, regional governor, state director, chapter officer, active chapter
committee chairman, and attend a minimum of 8 general lunchion meetings in a 12 month period.

RMLS - No fee
Data Quick - $60/quarter

2) Active Membership: Be an active committee member, or be a designated member, and attend a minimum of six or more general luncheon meetings in a 12 month period.

RMLS - $36/year
Data Quick - $90/quarter

3) Base Membership: Attend a minimum of four or more general luncheon meetings in a 12 month period.

RMLS - $84/year
Data Quick - $180/quarter

4) Non-Active Membership: Attend three or less general luncheon meetings in a 12 month period.

RMLS - $144/year
Data Quick - $210/quarter
