Chapter Elections


The Nominating Committee recommends the current board be carried over to 2006. The floor may also make nominations.

The office of Vice President is probably open as Tim Sellers says he does not wish to serve another term.

Holding office is an excellent way to lower your data fees.

To submit nominations you must be present at the meeting or if you can’t be at the meeting call Pat Miller at 503-263-2277 and call her also if you would like to participate on a committee.

Candidate Members can hold the local chapter offices of Secretary and Treasurer. Candidate Members cannot hold any State, Regional, or National office. Candidate Members can vote for the offices of Secretary and Treasurer in local chapter elections.

The Chapter Christmas Party is being held at the Double Tree Lloyd Center on December 2nd .

Mark your calendars now and come celebrate. The Double Tree is offering a special on rooms for anyone wanting to stay overnight for the event. The room rate is $59.00 plus tax. If you make a reservation, tell them you are with the Christmas Party to get that special rate.

Come join in the even as we always have a great time. We will also install the 2006 Board of Directors.

COMING SOON -
This fall we are planning a 4 hr Basic Construction Terminology course, the 4 hr ANSI (American National Standards for Measurement of Residential Houses)
course, and the 1-day Marshall and Swift Residential Cost Handbook course.

 

IFA DESIGNATION CLASSES
Lloyd Werner will continue to instruct classes to help members get their IFA designations upon demand. There will be a minimum attendee requirement.

DATA SERVICE FEE STRUCTURE

DATA SERVICE FEE STRUCTURE

1) Pro-Active Membership: Be a designated member, and a national officer or national committee member, regional governor, state director, chapter officer, active chapter
committee chairman, and attend a minimum of 8 general luncheon meetings in a 12 month period.

RMLS - No fee
Data Quick - $60/quarter

2) Active Membership: Be an active committee member, or be a designated member, and attend a minimum of six or more general luncheon meetings in a 12 month period.

RMLS - $36/year
Data Quick - $90/quarter

3) Base Membership: Attend a minimum of four or more general luncheon meetings in a 12 month period.

RMLS - $84/year
Data Quick - $180/quarter

4) Non-Active Membership: Attend three or less general luncheon meetings in a 12 month period.

RMLS - $144/year
Data Quick - $210/quarter

 

IFA MEMBERSHIP GOLF
Weather permitting... that means 40 degrees or higher, not socked in with fog, not pouring rain.

Mornings prior to each general meeting at the Rose City Golf Course, 2200 NE 71st Avenue, Portland. Tel 503-823-4653 or 503-253-4744. Thomas Guide Page 597 E3. Tee time is 8 a.m.

The NAIFA web site now has a link to Amazon.com. NAIFA gets a percentage of every order made through that link which will benefit all Chapters. NAIFA membership is not required.

There are many links on the web site that supports our industry, census tracts, maps, etc. Our Webmaster keeps adding good information, check it out.

Board meetings are usually the second Wednesday after each Monday General Meeting.

Breakfast is included at the expense of the Board.
